When we opened our doors in 2003, Hackney was already an area we loved. More than 20 years later, much has changed, but the things that drew us here in the first place remain: a vibrant mix of people, parks and canals, day-life and nightlife, and an ever-changing mix of interesting buildings, all within easy reach of the rest of the city.
Over the years, Hackney has become our home, and we’ve changed and grown alongside it. In 2003, we joined the Broadway Market Traders and Residents Association, helping to re-establish the Saturday market on Broadway Market in 2004.
Since then, there have been plenty of milestones along the way. We’ve welcomed many Blakestanley babies, watched staff come and go — and, happily, come back again. We’ve sponsored four local schools for more than 20 years, opened our second office on Chatsworth Road in 2014, and introduced office bikes while reducing our company cars, which are now all electric.
But of everything that has changed and grown over the years, what we’ve enjoyed most is being part of people’s lives. Helping our clients and our staff through their own life journeys in Hackney is what makes this place feel like home.
Our Offices
Two Hackney offices — Broadway Market and Chatsworth Road — each covering the neighbourhoods around them.

Broadway Market Office
We took the lease on the office in late 2002 and carried out works — it had been unoccupied for 14 years — and opened the doors in 2003.
While carrying out the works we found that historically the premises had been a butcher's, through uncovering the original tiling, which we have managed to restore and retain.
This ties into the history of Broadway Market being a drover's route for livestock into the city after they had been rested and fattened on London Fields.
Nowadays Broadway Market hosts a weekend market and enjoys having many independent shops, creating a diverse community which we are proud to be part of.
